Frequently asked questions

What is a custom link ending?

A custom link ending is the readable word or phrase that appears after the slash in your short link, such as "summer-sale" in sho.rt/summer-sale. It replaces a random string with something memorable and brand-friendly, making your links easier to share and recognize. You may see older references to this feature as a "back-half."

What is a workspace?

A workspace is a shared space where your team members collaborate on links, QR codes, and pages. It keeps everyone's work organized in one place with shared access and consistent branding. In older documentation you may see this referred to as a "team space."

What is activity history?

Activity history is a log of actions taken by team members within a workspace, such as creating links, updating domains, or changing settings. It helps workspace owners see who did what and when, which is useful for accountability and troubleshooting. This was previously called the "audit log."

What is data history?

Data history refers to how long your click and analytics data is stored and accessible based on your subscription plan. Higher-tier plans keep data available for longer periods, giving you more historical context for decision-making. You may see older references to this concept as "retention."

What are campaign tags?

Campaign tags are tracking parameters added to your links that help you measure where traffic comes from and how campaigns perform. They flow into your analytics tools so you can compare channels, ads, and promotions side by side. These were previously referred to as "UTM parameters."

What is the performance dashboard?

The performance dashboard is the analytics view that shows clicks, geographic breakdowns, device types, and referrer sources for your links. It gives you a single screen to understand how your audience interacts with your content so you can adjust your strategy accordingly.

What are team spaces?

Team spaces are individual workspaces within a single subscription, each with its own set of links, members, and settings. They let businesses organize work by department, client, or project while keeping billing centralized under one account.

What are AI Smart Pages?

AI Smart Pages are customizable link-in-bio and landing pages. Smart Pages are available within your plan page quota; AI-assisted content generation requires Go or higher. They are ideal for promoting multiple links, products, or calls to action from a single branded URL without needing a web developer.
