Who this is for​

This guide is for anyone who wants to create a ShortUrl.bot account for the first time. You do not need technical experience.

Before you start​

  • Have a working email address ready, or know the Microsoft account you want to use.
  • Decide whether you want to create a brand-new account or sign in with an existing Microsoft account.

What to do​

  1. Open the ShortUrl.bot website and go to the Sign-Up page.
  2. Click the Get Started button.
  3. You are redirected to a secure sign-in page hosted by our identity provider.
  4. Choose one of two paths:
    • New account — Enter your email address and create a password.
    • Existing Microsoft account — Select the Microsoft sign-in option and authenticate with your existing credentials.
  5. Complete any verification steps that appear (such as email confirmation).
  6. After sign-in completes, you land on the Dashboard. From here you can create your first short link, explore QR codes, or review your workspace settings.

Use it well​

  • Use a company or team email if the account will manage links for a business. This keeps billing and workspace ownership clear as you add team members later.
  • Bookmark the dashboard page so you can return to it quickly without searching for the sign-in link each time.
  • After creating your account, continue to Create your first short link to get a working link in under a minute.
